CLS is looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst in Sugar Land, TX. As an Application Support Analyst, you will provide technical support for both custom and off the shelf applications supporting Right of Way project management, GIS, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and cross functional reporting. You will be the first line of support for triaging issues and answering questions on CLS’s business applications. You will own support issues from intake to resolution/handoff and will be the key to keeping end users informed on status. You are comfortable communicating and interacting with a variety of personalities. You are naturally inquisitive and enjoy solving problems. You have substantial experience supporting a wide variety of applications. You enjoy supporting a constantly evolving application portfolio and relish diving into a new application and understanding how it is being used and how it could better be used. You are very detail oriented and have no issues tracking and driving multiple tasks to completion.
Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support services for a growing portfolio of applications used by business users and clients
  • Gather and document relevant information needed from intake to closure of support requests
  • Partner with other IT functions as necessary to resolve and escalate support requests
  • Facilitate communication between 3rd party vendors or internal teams needed to drive issues to resolution
  • Communicate status of support progress to stakeholders
  • Provide consultation for the functional use of the application
  • Recommend best practices and alternative solutions during solutioning
  • Install, configure, and administer supported applications
  • Plan and analyze impacts of changes or upgrades to existing applications
  • Create clear documentation for end users and other support team members
  • Assist in tracking and prioritization of overall team support requests

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or business-oriented field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4 years of experience in technical roles focusing on application support, IT help desk, IT operations, Software Development, or Systems analyst

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting an ERP and/or CRM applications
  • Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint
  • Salesforce
  • Experience writing and executing SQL Queries
  • SharePoint or MS Teams
